This Vineyards Found, 2012 Napa valley Merlot was picked mid to late October following an excellent growing season. Flavors of blackberry and raspberry jam show clearly the ripeness of the fruit at harvest. Cedar, oak and a bit o pepper accent the fruit notes. Well balanced acid and mouth feel followed by soft tannins are rich enough to give this excellent Merlot longevity for aging.
